Studio Laetitia is a Berlin-based candle studio creating hand-decorated taper candles in small, considered collections. Each candle is made by hand in my Berlin studio, with EU-sourced paraffin wax and motifs I cut and place myself.

I'm Laetitia, the founder. Candles have always been part of my life — I've collected them for as long as I can remember, lit them on weeknights for no reason, given them as gifts, kept far too many on my windowsill.

A few months ago, while looking at my own collection, an idea came to me for a new way of decorating them. After a lot of trial and error in my living room, I had something I genuinely loved. Studio Laetitia is the result — the candles I always wanted to find but never could.

I work in seasonal collections — Love, all year. Winter, from October. More to come, one season at a time. Every collection shares the same cream taper base and changes only in motif — kept simple on purpose, so the candles work on any table, in any room, for any occasion.

Every motif is cut by hand from sheets of coloured wax, and cut cold — chilled wax gives a clean edge, where warm wax tears and drags. It is the slow part of the process and the reason the shapes look the way they do. Once cut, each piece is pressed onto the cream taper by hand.

Every material I use — the wax, the wicks, the wax stickers, the boxes, the sleeves, the tissue paper — is sourced and produced within Europe. This isn't a marketing claim, it's a non-negotiable. I believe in keeping production close, supply chains short, and craft alive on this continent.

Studio Laetitia is currently a one-woman studio. That means slower than mass production, and more intentional. It also means every order is packed by me, every motif placed by hand, and every email answered personally.
