Crown Taper,
a pair.
A pair of 24 cm cream tapers, each set with six hand-cut wax crowns, three to a side, so it reads from every angle. Cut by hand from chilled sheets of coloured wax, pressed on one at a time. Gold reads regal by candlelight; silver keeps it quieter. Sold as a pair — twelve crowns in all.

Details
How to burn
Trim the wick to about 5 millimetres before you light it. The motifs are cut from coloured wax and pressed on, not painted on — as the candle burns down, they soften and blend in. If you want to keep the last decorated section as a keepsake, blow out with about 4 cm left.
Care
Never leave a burning candle alone. Keep in cool, dark storage — coloured wax can fingerprint in summer windows. If a taper warps slightly in transit, roll it gently between your palms for 30 seconds and it'll straighten.
