Heartlight,
a pair.
Hearts in shimmer or real mirror wax that catch the flame — for the table that already has flowers, or anyone who finds a plain candle a little too polite. Sold as a gift-ready duo set.
The shimmer shades carry a fine glitter inside the wax. It breaks the light and throws it back in colour: green and pink across an amber heart, turquoise across a blue one. The two mirror shades do something else again — real mirror wax, reflective rather than dyed, catching the flame the way a matte colour never will.
Every heart is cut by hand from a chilled sheet of wax and pressed onto the candle one at a time. No glue, no ink, no paint; the warmth of a fingertip is enough. Run a finger across one and you still feel the edge.
They want light. In the shade they are quiet, saturated surfaces. On a windowsill in low afternoon sun, or next to a lit wick, they start to work.

How to burn
The wick comes already trimmed to the right length, so you can light it straight away. The motifs are cut from coloured wax and pressed on, not painted on — as the candle burns down, they soften and blend in. If you want to keep the last decorated section as a keepsake, blow it out with about 4 cm to go.
Care
Never leave a burning candle alone. Store your candles somewhere cool and dark — in a warm summer window, coloured wax softens and picks up fingerprints. If a taper warps slightly in transit, roll it gently between your palms for 30 seconds and it'll straighten.
